Long Bay Model Aircraft Society

Welcome to the Long Bay Model Aircraft Society (LBMAS) website! The LBMAS is an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) sanctioned radio control aircraft club of about 60 members from the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area. We have a number of members from Canada and the northern United States who escape the snow and spend their winters flying and enjoying the moderate climate of the beautiful Grand Strand area. You are welcome to fly with us if you are in the area vacationing and you are a current AMA member. If you are local to the area and interested in learning more about the wonderful hobby of model aviation, or need help learning to fly, please explore this website to find out more about the LBMAS and where our field is located.
